For those that don’t know who Paul Jub is, he’s a fundamentalist Christian apparently living in Canada who I used to get in arguments with a lot until he deleted his blog and started a  new one, adopted.wordpress.com, which I have basically ignored since he created it. I rediscovered him via the interview and there found out about his YouTube channel. Figured it was worth a look-see. Well, no I didn’t, I don’t think anything he’s ever done about religion is worth viewing, but I figured it could at least be entertaining.

I watched his videos “Christians: how to minister to atheists” and “ATHEISTS Listen Closely” and they were both pretty weird. They were actually pretty similar to that Tom Cruise Scientology video, which is also a hilarious ranting from another true religious wacko which I highly recommend you watch.

But I digress.

Anyway, the “how to minister” one is a little less creepy than the second one, but no less arrogant. Basically, the gist is that atheists aren’t prepared to learn about Jesus and that Christians should spare us because we are too stupid or closeminded or whatever. I didn’t quite catch his reasoning because most of the thing is just him reading the Bible and pretending not to notice the assorted children crawling on his chair and running around in the background.

Besides, you (might) know how bad he is at reasoning.

The second vid is the stranger of the two, where he says that atheists are arrogant and should listen to Paul because he knows everything important, including what happens when you die and how matter came to be.

It was more ironic (doubly so, since he starts by calling atheism ironic) than anything else, with a healthy dose of stupidity thrown in.

Like everything he does.

We’ve established that

1. He, Alexander the Great, and “theism” all use the same computer – or work at the same company – and are probably all the same person.

2. This computer is not based in Alabama, where Angry claims to be from.

3. Angry is the perfect Christian stereotype – almost too convenient.

4. Angry’s writing style does not indicate stupidity, but rather someone trying really hard to seem stupid

From these conclusions, I became almost positive of his fraudulence. The straw that snapped the camel’s back happened just now, as Angry deleted and ignored all the comments I made to him telling him about this post.

If he is just going to ignore this when he couldn’t even ignore a music video post I did, I’d say he doesn’t want anyone reading this and wants to pretend that I just don’t exist.

Angryxtian is fraud.

Theism and Angryxtian have the same IP Address!

This usually means that they are using the exact same computer/internet connection, but there is a possibility: if one of them is using dial-up internet, they will be assigned a different IP address every time they connect to the internet. They could have just coincidentally ended up with the same IP address once.

I went through and checked all of the comments angryxtian has made on my blog. The IP address was always the same: 71.231.142.60.

For those not familiar with theism.wordpress.com, it is a blog claiming to be all for reason on the web. Its author has not called himself (herself?) a theist or an atheist, but has made it clear that he doesn’t buy the whole intelligent design thing.

So, could angryxtian really be an elaborate hoax to shit on Christians?

Or is “theism” just a theist just trying to… well, I don’t know. My pet theory is that angryxtian could be a great way to just be an ignorant asshole and not have to take responsibility for his words and actions. Like all of the wanna-bes who spend all day browsing streetgangs.com

By the time I had discovered this, I was nearly positive that angryxtian and theism were one and the same. However, I discovered that alexanderthegreat has the same IP address!

Could Alex really be in on a triangle of fraud like this? He seems like a good guy.

Angryxtian’s e-mail is not-obama@hotmail.com. Does that sound like a real e-mail address to you? If you wanted an e-mail address, would you really make it “not-obama”? Or does it sound like an account invented just for the purpose of making a fake blog?

I side with the latter.

Alex’s e-mail username is “alexanderthegreatergood”, which also sounds like an e-mail made soley for the purpose of his blog. Unless he’s the kind of dude who introduces himself to people as “Alexander the Great.”

Also note that name – Alexander the Great. Oh, like the greek king? Either his name is really Alex and he just likes the title, or someone is trying to hide his true identity.

Further complicating matters, theism’s email address is based at “saintly.com”. I visited and it’s just an autogenerated spam site, the kind shitty web hosts generate to force you to pay more for a domain name.

So, could “theism” be a fake, too?

Anyway, I wanted to further investigate whether or not Alex’s blog is a fake, so I searched his username in my comments and found that he once had the IP address 207.138.32.33. I did some more research and found out that angryxtian used to have that very same IP address!

Both of their accounts last used this IP address on March 21, 2008.

I was next commented by Alex on March 27th and angryxtian on March 30. They both had the exact same IP address. Again. (This seems to suggest the purchase of a new computer or switching companies)

Now, it could be possible that they both had the same IP Address once because of some random dial-up thing, but TWICE IN A ROW? Especially considering that there are 4.3 billion possible IP Addresses.

Also note that Alex’s blog “About” page says he knows quite a bit about psychology… Could this just be some sociological experiment, like the “90 Day Jane” blog where some college student pretended to be an atheist bent on suicide for some class?

Regardless, it seems fair to say that theism, alexanderthegreatest, and angryxtian are all currently using the same IP Address.

Either they all happen to work at the same business/school, in which all the computers’ IP Addresses would be the same (this is the case with me and Shidemn, as we go to the same school), or they all use the same library, or they are the same person.

Also, note that angryxtian’s spelling errors are ones that any child with a preschool education (even in his alleged home state of Alabama) would know. For example, spelling “see” “se.” Or how his blog’s headline says “Stand Up to Atheist Bullying” but he always spells it “Athiest” in his posts and comments. (I also read a comment of his where he spelled “technology” correctly – is that likely if he can’t even spell three-letter preschool words correctly?)

This seems to suggest that someone is writing a post with good spelling and grammar and then just going through and randomly cutting a letter out of words to make it seem like they have bad spelling.

Also, angryxtian fits the mold too perfectly. He seems like a parody. And I’m not just talking about his 10 point IQ or gross mishandling of everything related to anything, but rather the way he describes himself. He claims to be a 56-year-old man from a small, all-white town in Alabama who is both racist and homophobic. And stupid. Very, very stupid.

Is it that likely that such a stereotypical Christian could exist?

I doubt it.

In light of this evidence, I think it’s fair to draw the conclusion that Angryxtian is, in fact, a hoax. OR, alternatively, all three are related family members trying to keep their blogs secret from each other. Hell, they’re all Christians/theists. And two of them are obviously smarter than the third (angryxtian, natch), so it’s possible that angry is an uneducated, Great Depression-era grandfather or father with two children (possibly in college) that are a lot smarter than he is. I doubt this, though, since Alex has the tendency to drop by angryxtian’s blog and criticize him for being such a dipshit.

Furthermore, I looked up the two IP Addresses in question on samspade.org

One is Comcast Cable Communications in New Jersey and the other is “Global Crossing” of Wichita.

This is strange and contradictory, but, regardless, we can safely say that neither is in Alabama.

UPDATE: I’d just like to note before we get started that I am an atheist, a secularist, etc. I do not believe in god or any form of religion, superstition, or bullshit. I am just noting this because angryxtian has taken it upon himself to create a post bragging that he “converted” he or some shit. It’s a lie, lie, lie. I am an atheist. And angryxtian is still a lying asshole. Period.

Naturally – unfortunately – everything that goes up must come down, and everything that opens must eventually close. It just might be time for the Cabstand to do the same, fall back and fade into some footnote in the metaphorical book of atheist blogging.

I’m now officially closing the blog down, I’ve just gotten pretty bored with it. Like an elementary-age kid with an old video game or some shit.

So, I’m officially closing up shop, I’ve just rediscovered some things a little more important in my life (UPDATE: no, angryxtian, not god or religion – I’m talking about making music).

It’s always annoyed me when people spend their whole lives arguing about its meaning instead of living it. Just like how I hate it when rappers record 20 years of songs about how they are the best but never make anything actually worth listening to.

Whatever.

I’ve mostly shifted my focus back to music lately, having recently discovered Johnny “Guitar” Watson and rediscovered the joy of making music.

So, basically, I’ve moved on from the Cabstand. That’s probably half the reason my last week or two of posts and comments have sucked something awful.

I’ll probably still pop in every once in a while, but don’t expect much. I’m planning to lend this blog’s space out to other atheist bloggers. (If you want to guestwrite on this blog, just leave me a comment here.

PS Peep the final stats by week. Out of the roughly four months I’ve been in business, the best week was about 1200 views, the best day was about 350 view in one day, and the worst was about 3 in a week and 0 in a day.

Since the school year’s winding down, I thought I’d a do a quick post detailing all the times I got censored writing for the school paper – i.e. in every issue I wrote in. Our paper’s pretty good, and it’s not to knock the staff, but I just thought it would be fun to look back on. You’ll notice that most of the things that got censored were pretty mean-spirited, irrelevant, or insensitive and probably should have been taken out.

Issue 4: I wrote a letter about how racist a staff editorial in the previous issue was, saying “The only Black stereotype not in the staff editorial is fried chicken.” It was removed because the school wanted to keep my bitter joke out because it mentioned a black stereotype – fried chicken. The copy editor later told me it was a childish line, anyway.

 Issue 5: I didn’t write anything for this issue – I was recruited for the staff after my letter to the editor and I arrived too late to get an assignment.

Issue 6: Not allowed to call “Omaha (The Movie)” a stereotypical portrayal of our great city. I believe my review was censored a little, too, but I don’t remember how.

Issue 7: The line “Obama supporters will especially appreciate this book, as it will surely become to them what the bible is to fundamentalists”  became “…It will be key to understanding their favorite politician.”

Issue 8: I cannot say that the Bush administration has been “run into the ground by critics.” Changed to “come under fire.”

Issue 9: Cannot say that “88 Minutes” has a “homophobic bent.”

On the flipside, let’s look at what I got away with…

Issue 4: Calling the newspaper staff I later joined racist.

Issue 5: Not doing any real work.

Issue 6: Calling a movie character a stereotypical slut.

Issue 7: Saying the best part of “Be Kind, Rewind” was the “magnetized urine.”

Issue 8: Call “10,000 BC” an “orgy of absurdities.”

Issue 9: Comparing “88 Minutes” to the Klan propaganda film “Birth of a Nation.”

And to many more! lol…

Ghostface’s catalogue is always at war with itself, mostly because half of his fans think “Ironman” was his best CD and some think it was “Supreme Clientele.” But is “Clientele” really the best? Is “Bulletproof Wallets” really the worst? Let’s look at this.

Here’s my list of the Ghostface CD’s I own (own, not just heard) in order from worst to best with explanations of the placing (note that I will be including Raekwon’s “Only Built 4 Cuban Linx…” since Ghost was on almost all of the songs anyway).

10. The Big Doe Rehab (2007)

Explanation: I don’t care what the critics (mostly) said about this CD – the only songs really worth listening to are “Yolanda’s House” and “Supa GFK.” More than just not having good songs on it, this is chock full of bullshit songs, like “The Prayer,” “Yapp City,” and “Paisley Darts.”

9. Ironman (1996)

Explanation: This is generally considered Ghost’s best or second best CD, but there are just way too many guests and Ghost barely holds his own. One of his few solo tracks, “Wildflower” just straight sucks. The beats mostly bang, but the rapping leaves a lot to be desired.

8. Live In New York (2006)

Explanation: This is a mediocre live CD, but it’s not awful. I place it low on this list mostly because there isn’t really any original material on it and the Clan yells too much in the background.

7. Hidden Darts: Special Edition (2007)

Explanation: This is a so-so compilation of the best songs released by Ghost in the mixtape circuit. It has some interesting songs, as well as some classics like “The Sun,” but a lot of the bootleg tracks are just qualified to be bootleg tracks.

6. Bulletproof Wallets (2001)

Explanation: This really is a good album, it just has a little too much filler in it. It’s definitely worth picking up, even if just for “Strawberry.”

5. The Pretty Toney Album (2004)

Explanation: It may be deep, moody, and harder than a motherfucker, but this album would be greatly improved if about 6 songs had been left out. A lot of the vocal samples Ghost flips on here are too pitchy and squeaky. They hurt the ears. You definetely need to download “Kunta Fly Shit” and “Run.”

4. More Fish (2006)

Explanation: If you overlook about 3 weed carrier tracks, you’ll see that this “Fishscale” sequel is bursting at the seams with great music. Highlights include “Block Rock,” “Outta Town Shit,” and “Greedy Bitches.”

3. Supreme Clientele (2000)

Explanation: Even without all of the annoying, lengthy skits, this album still comes up a little short. It’s good the first time through, but a few songs get grating the second or third time you hear them

2. Only Built 4 Cuban Linx… (1995)

Explanation: Again with the skits! This album is incredibly dense and cinematic, perfectly complementing Ghost and Rae’s mafia raps. There aren’t any bad songs on this, and this is also  easily the second best Wu album, solo or group.

1. Fishscale (2006)

Explanation: This is one of those rare albums that you can play beginning to end over and over again without ever getting bored. The skits are tight and meaningful and the songs bang like glocks. Ghost is in rare form here. He’s gone downhill on his 2 albums since, so we may never get another classic outing like this from him. Enjoy it while you can.
