Having recently gone to the extra trouble of ordering the UK edition of Christopher Hitchen’s book “god Is Not Great” (I just couldn’t bring myself to buy something with a dust jacket as hideous as the American edition), I started looking at more of the UK editions of popular New Atheist books. Turns out, as I could have guessed, the UK editions of New Atheist books have infinitely better looking covers than our American versions.
Here are several popular atheist titles in American and UK edition (the American is the first one, the UK is the second one). Notice how much better looking the UK editions are.

I have the American editions of End of Faith, The GOD Delusion, and Letter to a Christian Nation.
I ordered the UK god Is Not Great but I just found out that I miscalculated shipping and it would cost 30 dollars.
So I might just have to buy the shiity American version of god Is Not Great.

Umm I haven’t lent away End of Faith or Letter to a Christian Nation, but Sam Harris is sort of a notoriously bad researcher lol Letter’s still good, though.

I prefer the UK versions myself especially the God Delusion, it awesome. Although it is very simple i could make that cover on Paint.net in like 10 minutes.

Yeah, I’m a little more into simplictic covers, so if I saw these on the bookshelf, I’d probably go for the U.S. first.
I don’t have a problem with simple, but I do with ugly. lol

Yeah, but these book’s texts are all the same – and mostly good – I’d just like a good book to have a good cover.
