Actually, as a strong atheist, I don’t get to us the burden of proof defense… well, except for proving my position- I get to work from the default (lack of belief) and show how the alternative is false.

Also Scott, theists have not always insisted that they believe based on faith. Remember that atheist dude who converted to deism- claimed to do so by reason.

But of course no one can ever prove definitely that god does or does not exist.

No, it seems that the point of your post was to put the burden of proof on us, where it doesn’t belong.

Ah, but see, us theists have always admitted that we believe in God by faith.

Atheists believe that there is no God also by faith, but are loathe to admit it.

After all, we are all agnostics with no final knowledge correct?
