On Prophets

Does anyone else think it’s curious that there are no prophets nowadays? Curious that everything religious or miraculous happened thousands of years ago (supposedly)?
All the prophets today are false, as I suspect they have been throughout history.
If Jesus came again, he would be killed again, probably by the Christians. I someday hope to make a movie to that effect.

If Jesus were to return to Earth today, he wouldn’t recognize the religion that sprang up in his name.
Hell, Jesus would probably say screw it and become a Buddhist.
